Patrick Anderson

Patrick Anderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University.  He has worked in community clinic and private practice settings. Patrick works with adolescents and adults experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, LGBTQ issues, and substance use. Patrick utilizes a client-centered approach and his goal as a therapist is to provide a welcoming, supportive, safe, and healthy space for clients to create positive change.


 

Dana L. Baker

Licensed Professional Counselor, Co-Owner

Dana L. Baker, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed by the state of Missouri. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling, both from Webster University.  She is an approved licensure supervisor through the state of Missouri.  Dana holds certification in traumatic stress studies through the Trauma Center at JRI.  Dana is trained in modalities of trauma treatment including Brainspotting and EMDR.  She has extensive experience and training in working with problematic sexual behaviors in adolescents, as well as anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions.  Dana uses an integrative, trauma-informed approach, that focuses on attunement and building a trusting relationship with the client to ensure therapy is personalized and collaborative.

 

Sr. Anita Franz

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Sr. Anita Franz Licensed Clinical Social Worker Sr. Anita received her B.S. in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and taught grades 2- 8 for twelve years before spending 20 years working with children in Church related ministries. During this time, she came to know firsthand how the emotional and neurocognitive challenges with which some children live can impact their ability to achieve success academically and socially. In 2011 Sr. Anita moved to Austin, TX to pursue an MSSW at the University of Texas where she completed an internship at Capital Area Counseling working with both adult and child clients.  In June of 2016 she began working exclusively with children at Pediatric Psychotherapy Associates.  Sister received her LCSW in October of 2019 and completed requirements for credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist in July of 2022. Sr. Anita works with children ages 3 – 10 who are struggling with ADHD, Anger, Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma.  Her guiding principle is that children instinctively know what they need and that when provided a warm, safe, therapeutic relationship they can make great strides toward achieving resolution of internal conflict, gaining social skills, and learning coping strategies that will serve them through life.


 

Hannah Giannanti

Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor

Hannah earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri Saint Louis and is under the supervision of Dana Baker, LPC as she works to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has worked individually with adults, teenagers, and couples from a variety of backgrounds in a private practice setting. She is especially passionate about working with individuals who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals going through any significant life changes, and postpartum women. She works from the point of view that everyone has different parts to themselves that deserve to be heard and understood without judgment, and that past experiences shape who you are now. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or merely finding it difficult to exist, Hannah views her role as the therapist as one who walks alongside you in your journey and centers your needs in the therapeutic relationship.

The human experience can be as exhausting as it can be beautiful. Maybe you’re feeling out of control, hopeless, powerless, consumed with worry? It’s never easy to talk about our inner world with someone for fear of how they might react. Hannah strives to always meet you where you’re at and respect your autonomy to help the therapeutic space feel safe. 

 

Molly Gibbs

Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor

Molly (she/her) holds a Master’s degree in Counseling with a focus in Clinical Mental Health and a graduate degree in Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling from the University of Missouri - Saint Louis. Under the supervision of Dana Baker, LPC, Molly is on the path to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri.

Her expertise includes working with adult clients dealing with anxiety, depression, neurodiversity and neurodevelopmental differences, trauma, life transitions, relational issues, and parenting concerns using relational-cultural and cognitive-behavioral techniques. She also has experience in working with couples and families. Furthermore, she is skilled in working with women from diverse cultural backgrounds to foster empowerment, community, and self-liberation.

As a proud member of the LGBTQIA2SP+ community, Molly is deeply committed to offering empathetic support to her fellow community members. Molly emphasizes establishing a strong therapeutic alliance characterized by non-judgment, validation, safety, and authenticity. Operating from an integrative and trauma-informed perspective, she prioritizes trust and vulnerability, ensuring each client receives personalized support tailored to their unique needs.

 

Erica Key

Licensed Professional Counselor

Erica earned her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Webster University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. Erica has worked in social services since 2009 and has had the privilege of working with a variety of populations, She welcomes clients of all ages for individual psychotherapy and family counseling. She has experience working with people navigating an array of mental health and social issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, work stress, life transitions and a host of others. She prefers the person centered approach to therapy and believes that each person has inside of them what it takes to overcome personal challenges and become their best selves. Her goal is to support people on their journeys. She also believes in the practicality of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and often incorporates it into her work. She believes in being culturally and trauma competent and works to make sure every client feels supported and heard.

 

Casey Knarr

Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor

Casey earned their Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and is under the supervision of Dr. Alexandria Boyer to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri. They have worked with a variety of clinical populations, believe in meeting clients where they are, and honoring the wholeness and multiplicity of each individual.   

Managing relationships, showing up, and being human can be difficult. This is compounded by our profoundly dysfunctional society. It’s not easy, but it doesn’t have to be this hard.  

Casey believes in the counselor as co-pilot: a role of support and assistance in navigating tricky emotional terrain. In session, they work to create a space where you can be your most authentic self. This means bringing all of you, even the parts that feel scared, ashamed, or angry. All parts of you are important and deserve care and attention. They believe that resiliency, healing, and connection can be a part of every client’s story. Casey is passionate about working with clients in a variety of life concerns, including gender-expansive and LGBTIA+ identities, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD and neurodivergence, and chronic pain and illness. 

 

Amanda Prasuhn

Amanda has a Master´s Degree in counseling from Webster University and has multiple years of experience working with young children and adults in all environments including in-home therapy. Amanda has provided mental health treatment to individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, family separation, behavior problems, and trauma.

Amanda´s therapeutic approach is client centered with an emphasis on building strong therapeutic relationships with each client in order to better identify and implement individual treatment modalities.  As part of her therapeutic skills, she provides EMDR therapy.

 

Calin Sterling Roh

Calin Sterling Roh is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri and a certified EMDR therapist. Calin works with adolescents and adults with a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity exploration. She meets her clients where they are in their journey and provides a safe environment free of judgement to reflect, develop new skills, and grow. Calin's focus is to support and empower her clients as they move towards positive change.

Sara Allen

Licensed Professional Counselor, Co-Owner

Sara Allen, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed by the state of Missouri . She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Missouri State University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.  Sara is a certified EMDR therapist and holds a certification in traumatic stress studies through the Trauma Center at JRI.  She is also an approved supervisor through the state of Missouri.   Sara started her career as a youth specialist and group leader for the Division of Youth Services. She then went on to work as a case manager for children in foster care through Boys and Girls Town of Missouri. Sara worked as a residential therapist for several years and also served as a counselor for juveniles in the St. Louis County detention center. She currently works with adolescents and adults.  Sara enjoys helping others and places great importance on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.

 

Allison Williams

Allison Williams earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and is under the supervision of Sara Allen to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri.  She has experience working with children and adolescents with an array of concerns.  Allison enjoys assisting her clients design the life of their choosing.  She believes that with the right therapeutic tools, individuals, families, and couples can live a wholesome life.

Alexandria Boyer, PhD

Licensed Professional Counselor, Co-Owner

Dr. Alexandria Boyer, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed by the state of Missouri. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University, has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Webster University, and a doctorate in Medical Family Therapy from Saint Louis University.  Alex has taught as an adjunct professor at both Webster University and Saint Louis University.  She has served on the board of directors at Keyway, and is an approved supervisor through the state of Missouri.  

Alex has worked as a therapist in a variety of settings, including; outpatient mental health centers, St. Louis County Family Courts and long term residential treatment program.  She is a certified EMDR therapist with the following areas of interest: adult women withchildhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, unhealthy relationships, and postpartum issues.

Alex places great emphasis on truly understanding each individual’s experience in order to form a meaningful relationship in therapy. She believes empathy and understanding are the cornerstones for fostering a healthy therapeutic alliance.  Alex has the philosophy that in therapy there can be no judgement made about any person or their choices in life.  The goal in her work with clients is to help identify changes the client sees necessary to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

 

Katie Brammer

Katie Brammer (She, Her, Hers), PhD, LPC, RPT™ is a Counselor Educator with a background in Mental Health Counseling, Child Counseling, and School Counseling. She tailors her clinical approach to meet the needs of each client, cultivating a trauma-informed environment focused on cultural humility.

Katie is a Registered Play Therapist™ who is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Katie works well with children ages 3-17, 2SLGBTQIAP+ folx, Autistic people, and middle-aged women who want to improve their overall well-being, enhance relationships, experience greater self-acceptance, or search for purpose.

 

Kenyatta Cole

Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor

Kenyatta earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University and is under the supervision of Dr. Alexandria Boyer to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri. She is passionate about creating a safe space for all clients to receive validation, reassurance, and guidance. She provides support to individual clients, ages 10 and up, who may be dealing with depression, anxiety, self- harm, life transitions and life stressors. She also assists families and couples. She utilizes a combination of several therapeutic approaches, including, person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.

Kenyatta values the importance of building rapport with her clients and grasping an understanding of their relationship with themselves, their support system, and the world around them. She views therapy as a coping strategy that can be used anytime, even when a client is in a positive space. Kenyatta emphasizes creating a space where clients can express themselves unapologetically as they gain tools to assist them as they navigate life.

 

Gina Hackett

Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor

Gina is a provisionally licensed professional counselor currently under the supervision of Dr. Alexandria Boyer, PhD, LPC. Gina graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Mizzou and obtained her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University.

Gina specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She has worked with children for years prior to coming to Foundations for Change. She utilizes play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and strategies when working with her clients. Gina is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Gina enjoys working with children and adolescents because of the playfulness and sincerity they bring to each session.  She prioritizes the counselor/client relationship and feels that building that connection is a fundamental part of the process of change. Her goal is to make each client feel seen and understood, while also giving them the tools needed to thrive outside of the therapeutic environment.

 


Lacita Moody

Licensed Professional Counselor

Lacita Moody is a Licensed Professional in the State of Missouri . Lacita earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She has worked in both the hospital setting and local non-profit settings in the Metro St. Louis area.

She has assisted in transforming the lives of women, men, and teens that have experienced emotional, sexual, physical trauma, and relationship traumas. In addition, Lacita also loves working with depression, anxiety, creatives, and multicultural professionals. Her speciality is working specifically with those who have experienced traumatic levels of emotional and relationship trauma by assisting the client with unlearning deeply ingrained negative beliefs about themselves projected onto them by a toxic partner(s). Lacita is committed to helping her clients find their true purpose in life outside of trauma, anxiety, challenging life transitions while instilling a strong sense of empowerment and autonomy.

She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral, and Person-Centered Therapies. She is also a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors and The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). Lacita is also committed to serving those from various multicultural backgrounds and is dedicated to multicultural awareness. Her goal with every client is to provide them the tools necessary for them to thrive at their fullest capacity for years to come.


 

Eric Ptolemy

Eric earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University, and is under the supervision of Dr. Alexandria Boyer to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri. Eric has background in education as a high school teacher, coach, and administrator. As a father, Eric has a special focus on helping both parents and adolescents navigate the complexities of relationships, attachment, and emotional well-being.

Eric’s approach centers on building trust and creating a safe, supportive space where clients can feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. He works primarily from an attachment-based perspective, exploring how past relationships influence current emotional patterns, and helping clients develop healthier ways to connect with others.

Eric specializes in working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. He believes in the power of strong, positive relationships for healing and growth. His goal is to help clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and create fulfilling, meaningful connections with those around them.

 

Cameron Richter

Licensed Professional Counselor

Cameron is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, and has a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Cameron has worked in the mental health field at community and residential agencies, as well as private practice, and has experience working with a wide variety of populations and concerns.

Creating a safe, validating, genuine and authentic environment is imperative to Cameron, and he strives to honor each client's individual experiences to build a connection in therapy rooted in trust and healing. Cameron believes that his role as a counselor is to help individuals decide which paths in life are most valuable and rewarding for them, and walk alongside them as they navigate the successes and challenges of their path.

Cameron is trained in EMDR and Motivational Interviewing, and is passionate and experienced in working with clients in a variety of areas, including trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, co-dependence & establishing healthy boundaries, and empowerment & support of LGBTQIA+, non-binary, and sexual & gender identities.
